DAILY CHOICES: What to do on Tuesday, August 21

COMEDY: Each Tuesday at Dub Land Underground (315 Alexander St.), grab a drink and get your chuckle on at Laugh Riot Underground: Stand-Up Comedy Showcase.  The show takes place 9-11 p.m., and is free. Info: laughriotcomedy.com.

RECREATION: This week’s MVP Nature Nights free guided bike ride takes participants through the Sea Breeze neighborhood. Meet at Summerville Genesee River park lot at the end of St. Paul St. at 6 p.m. For information, visit cityofrochester.gov/fclg.

THEATER: Tonight only, check out the reading of a new play by the creators of The Calamari Sisters, entitled “Dear Mom.”  The event takes place at 7 p.m. at RAPA East End Theatre (727 E. Main St.) and is free, but your RSVP is required; email dearmomplay@gmail.com.

MUSIC: Tonight the Troubadour Gypsy Tour is coming to town,  featuring Dyanne Harvey, Erisa Rei, and Erik Ferguson. A free show at Boulder Coffee (100 Alexander St.), the tour brings together the three artists from the pop/rock, classical, and roots worlds, joining to share in a night of musical camaraderie.
