The Eastman School of Music announced today that all previously scheduled concerts in Kilbourn Hall for the fall season are being relocated.
Eastman School Dean Douglas Lowry explained in a message to students and staff that the hall will be closed all semester for asbestos removal, and that two independent tests have concluded that there was never any health risk to patrons of the hall.
Planning for replacement venues and locations is currently underway, and will be updated on the Eastman website.
